Terms of Service

1. Overview

ERLC Voice (“Service”) provides proximity voice chat and server management for Emergency Response: Liberty County (ERLC) communities. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
  • You must have a valid Discord account and comply with Discord’s terms.
  • If you verify a Roblox account, you must be authorized to use that account.

3. Accounts and Verification

  • Login is via Discord OAuth. Roblox verification (Open Cloud OAuth) is optional unless required by a server.
  • You must provide accurate information. Using another person’s identity or evading bans is prohibited.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and devices.

4. Service Features

  • Proximity voice chat using LiveKit. Audio routing may depend on in-game location data (PRC snapshot).
  • Server ownership: each user may own/administrate one server; owners can configure join rules (allow joins, join-by-code, verified-only).
  • Verified-only servers: if enabled, only Roblox-verified users may join; verified usernames are enforced on join.
  • We may update, suspend, or limit the Service for maintenance, security, or misuse.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, dox, or abuse other users.
  • Record or intercept communications without consent where legally required.
  • Circumvent proximity limits, verification, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Upload malware or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable law or platform (Discord/Roblox) policies.

6. User Content and Conduct

You are responsible for audio you transmit and nicknames you use. We may remove or restrict users/servers for violations.

7. Data and Privacy

We process account data (Discord ID, Roblox ID/username when verified), server/member state, and technical logs. See the Privacy Policy for details. By using the Service, you consent to this processing.

8. Third-Party Services

Discord (authentication), Roblox Open Cloud OAuth (verification), LiveKit (voice), Supabase (backend), PRC API (server snapshots). Their terms and privacy policies apply.

9. Service Availability and Changes

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” Features may change without notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts or servers for violations or risk.

10. Disclaimers

No warranties; we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not control in-game behavior or third-party platforms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to USD $50 (or the minimum amount permitted by law).

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use, content, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations, security, or legal reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, and disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bratislava, Slovakia. If your local law prohibits this choice, the mandatory consumer forum in your country applies.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated (e.g., in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
